Daleep Singh Sandhu
My name is Daleep Singh Sandhu, and I am a junior majoring in Neurobiology and Psychology on the pre-med track. I was born and raised in Madison, WI, and I practice Sikhism. I have always felt deeply connected to Sikhism through regularly attending the Gurudwara (Sikh temple), reading and writing in the Punjabi/Gurmukhi language, and learning about the rich and young history of our religion. Throughout my personal journey embracing Sikhi, I have come to understand how important it is to foster awareness and understanding across faiths so that everyone can freely practice their beliefs. As an Interfaith Fellow, I look forward to sharing my own experiences while learning from the diverse perspectives of others, working together to build a community where everyone feels respected and proud of who they are.
