Awa Phatty

Hi! My name is Awa Phatty, I am currently a Junior majoring in Legal Studies/Public Relations with a certificate in Educational Policy. I identify as a Muslim and I wear the hijab as well. I was born in Madison but raised in The Gambia for the first 5 years of my life. Faith is a beautiful concept to me and I love learning about others faiths and practices and what it means to them. I am excited and intrigued to hear everyone’s thoughts to see where we differ and also connect!
