Rachel Shela

Hi! My name is Rachel Shela and I am a Sophomore studying Sociology and Jewish Studies. I was raised in New York City in a pluralistic Jewish household and received a multi-faceted Jewish education that exposed me to the richness of my tradition and fostered a zest for learning. I am passionate about exploring different belief systems and the ways in which they impact my peers’ lives and communities. I look forward to uncovering points of ideological overlap and navigating moments of disagreement. With compassion and curiosity, I am excited to build a vibrant interfaith community both within our cohort and beyond.
