Daniela Fernandez
Hello! My name is Daniela Fernandez, and I am from Greenville, South Carolina. I am currently a freshman majoring in Industrial Engineering with plans to pursue certificates in Chican@ and Latin@ Studies and Finance. I attended a Catholic school for seven years, where I developed a strong foundation in faith, compassion, and service. During this time, I dedicated much of my energy to volunteering with my city council, local animal shelters, and women’s shelters throughout South Carolina, experiences that deepened my commitment to supporting and understanding diverse communities.
I am honored to be part of the Interfaith Fellowship. Through this opportunity, I hope to learn more about diverse religions, perspectives, and cultural traditions, and explore how faith can shape empathy, leadership, and community engagement. I look forward to contributing to and learning from the interfaith community as I continue to grow both personally and professionally at UW–Madison.
