Interfaith Fellow Application

In order to be considered for the program, you must be an undergraduate student in good standing at UW-Madison, registered for the entire academic year 2025-26, and enrolled for at least six credits each semester. You must commit to attend the Interfaith Fellows regularly scheduled weekly meetings on Monday evenings from 6:00-7:30 PM. These meetings are led by CID Program Coordinator Talia Ivry with support from Office of Inclusion Education Staff.

The average commitment time for the Fellowship is approximately 3 hours per week. The exact hours and experiences will vary from week to week. Fellows will receive a $700 stipend for the year contingent on successful completion of the program.

We are also looking to hire one intern who, in addition to participating in the weekly dialogue sessions, will help CID staff with planning, administering and marketing Center for Interfaith Dialogue events. The Intern will work approximately 5-10 hours a week and be paid $15/hour. If you want to be considered for the Administrative Fellowship position, you’ll have the chance to indicate that below.

Our Fellows will be highly motivated, independent, thoughtful, and capable of engaging people of different and no faith background with both candor and sensitivity. You do not need to belong to any formally established religious institution or hold any particular beliefs in order to apply.
